How Long Will You Wait? -- 4L.com

Now that almost all of the 4L.com's are registered I'm wondering how long it will be until everyone is listing them for sale in the aftermarkets and auctions?

I'm sure the market will do fine either way but I am curious as to how long you plan on holding onto your investment? Are you hopeing for a quick flip or are you in it for the long haul? Are you going to develop your LLLL.com's or possibly seek out potential buyers who seem like they may have interest in those letters?

Let us know what your long term, or short term goals are?

I personally am going to hold on to the majority of my LLLL.com's until I get a good enough offer or my asking price posted on my site is met. I may let one or two go at aftermarket prices but that is only to help me to cover reg fees and other website expenses. Also sometimes letting a good name go for a low price can help to promote a website or business.

I already planned to hold at least 1 year but now I`m not only planning to hold the ones I have but buying as more as I can!

I too initially planned to buy and hold for a good amount of time.

The plan is the same but i have decided to better my domains a little.
I am buying domains at a price and selling them at a small profit during this rush period. This enables me to still go for better domains and continue the cycle till i can filter out some with better overall quality than what i have.

I can already see my LLLL coms getting a little better in quality although my portfolio is decreasing in quantity, it is definitely upping in quality. As i cant afford to buy high quality LLLL's i am aiming at mid quality multipurpose ones.

i have 50 only and i can easily manage to renew them in the next year also

anyway i will not sell any of them below $500 in coming years..i am sure the value will be around $500 to $1000 after 2 year even for bad letter combinations

so i am going to park all my LLLL.coms and if i get min $500,i will sell.Otherwise i will keep and will wait for my turn and luck

I already spent a car worth on my LLLL's. Won't settle for anything less than a house (expect to hold for 4-5 years)

It's a win win situation for me. As a Web Developer / Designer as my fulltime gig, I can easily place nice website demo's & templates on my LLLL.com's - then it helps sell the designs & the domains are available if anyone is interested in making an offer to buy.
