How long to wait for a sale completion?

I was wondering what the proper amount of time to wait for the completion (deposit of funds into PayPal) of a domain sale.

A domain push at GoDaddy.

Should be pretty quick unless the payment was made with an eCheck.

I'd get on the seller to transfer the name over. Shouldn't take over 2 hours max

Sorry for the confusion.

I am the seller and have PMed the prospective buyer. The buyer has not deposited the funds or acknowledged the PM. How long is an appropriate time to wait before offering the domain to another buyer?

I'd wait 2-5 days, depending on the agreement.

The smaller of a transaction it is, the less time one should wait. Since there is no escrow process, payment should be fast, unless payment by echeck, which takes a few days to clear.
