How long for Sedo to react to a payment...???

I won an auction on Sedo, paid the final amount to the Sedo Escrow Service, and have yet to receive a response from Sedo. The seller is surely wondering what's going on and so am i. Is it common that Sedo waits for more than 7 business days to acknowledge to have received funds into their Escrow?

Do you see 'payment received' in the transaction history ? From my experience it can take a long time before they acknowledge the amount if it's been wired to their bank account.

Contact mara[at]sedo.com or tom.fell[at]sedo.com to get your transaction completed, waiting is not going to help since they tend to never reply if you have Dover as a 'rep'

Yep, i paid 7 business days ago. Haven't received a response from Sedo yet. I'll wait til January and shoot them an email then.

I reached an Agreement to sell on 12/11/06 - Nothing more has happened and erich seems to be only sending automated reponses.

I just want to cancell the sale so the name is back on the market - It does make me wonder if the problem is with the buyer not paying or sedo not contacting them...or me ??

I would like to know either way...and move on !

i'll give them until the end of the first business week in January, if nothing has happened until then, i'll try to cancel the transaction. Every other business is attempting to perform a transaction as quickly and smooth as possible, after all, it's in their best interest. Sad that Sedo seems to be a bit lax...

I should reply in the other thread also, but Eric finally stepped in mine and I got my money in less than 24 hours once he took over the transaction :tu: (After waiting almost a month on Dover)

They are of course on holiday and it is unlikely you will hear anything until mid to end of next week - if you are lucky - I have a $xxxx sale that is currently going nowhere - guess who the Sedo broker is :?
