How long does Sedo take to verify payment?

I recently sold a domain on Sedo. The payment request has been created for the buyer, and the status says “The transfer will commence upon receipt of this payment.”

I just want to know from your experience — how long does it usually take for Sedo to confirm the buyer’s payment?

Do they verify it right away after the buyer pays, or can it take a few days?

first, you have to wait for buyer to send payment, then wait for sedo to confirm the payment.
then they will notify you, to either submit auth code or push the domain to their sedo account at your respective registrar

all that can take place on same day or as long as a few weeks… depending on how attentive and legit the buyer is

My domain is registered at Dynadot and it’s already active in SedoMLS.

Do you know if, once the buyer pays, the transfer happens automatically through SedoMLS or do I still need to do something manually like unlock or send the auth code?

unless you have “fast transfer” enabled then it will be a manual transfer

do not do anything until instructed by sedo
then follow their instructions

be patient!

if you had the name for more than 60 days then you can wait a few more days until deal is complete

if buyers form of payment is kosher then it can be confirmed asap

imo….
