advice How Long Before Switching Parking Companies?

Just curious how long you give a certain parking company?

Currently , I have my domains parked with Sedo. Since most are newly regged, I figure give at least 3-6 months to accurately evaluate parking revenue (if any).

Then switch to Parking company 2?

Then domains I think have end-user potential, but no Parking Revenue switch to For Sale Landers at this time?

What do you all do during the life cycle of your domains?

Hi

over the years, there have been a variety of ppc's
but when one gobbles up the other,
like when parkingcrew ate up namedrive,
then, you go with flow.

but, since sedo has remained in the game
and they've had the longest fame
i still list with them first.

however, i'll move names within same period you mentioned, if.... they get stagnant where they currently are.

though majority of my names have usage potential, those that don't earn today, might earn next month.
so i'll leave on ppc
and, since there's means to contact, one can still receive inquiries.

coincidentally, i recently moved a small list from PC/ Sedo and Uni over to Fabulous
so i'll see how that move turns out.

What Lander are you using at Sedo? It might be possible that ad blockers block the Ad content at all.

I used to have my domains parked for parking revenue, but I decided years ago that my main goal is to sell domain names. So, no ads on my domains any longer.

Based on Future Sensors excellent comment above, has anyone else noticed an uptick in Inquiries/Sales after moving from a Parking PPC lander to a Sales Lander?

This is my strategy for year 2 of any domains I no longer consider worth parking.

Then, year 3 will be mostly Drops except for my long term holds.

feel free to pave your own path, but...
since pay per click has existed, every domain i have sold, has been parked with ppc ads on them.

in contrast to that though, i did make my own lander for a domain, but i added adsense to it.

I usually use Above connected to Sedo/Bodis/Voodoo.
In the past month Bodis was the best performer until September.
Now Sedo if performing much better.
Voodoo has never bring good revenues.

i have name there, that got two / $20 clicks, from 30 visitors in November
and another that got a $3.14 "no click"

so, it depends on the actual names and what epc pays for them.

I use voodoo for the revenue and statistics...give them a try if you plan to test another parking company.
