I am wondering how good is ebay on getting exposure to domain names. Is it a good idea to list your names there with a decent BIN, so it will get exposure even it doesn't get sold. Any experience with that?

Thanks,

To be honest all the times I have used eBay for selling domains, I haven't been satisfied. I would recommend just to sell them on here or look for people that would like domains like yours.

He's not trying to sell them, but get more exposure.

The best way for ebay domain exposure IMO is to not say the actual domain in the title (thus u draw them in) and set the price like 999,999 to get the people who sort by 'price.' This is for getting interest, not actually for selling at that high price.

Thats going to cost a lot if you set the starting bid at $999,999 Might as well just pay someone for advertising.

IMO eBay is only any good as a medium to sell, and not to gain publicity for your domain.
I would recommend mainly selling on there if you have a high profile name that you can drive sales traffic to during the sale.
