I was wondering how do you start your own domain dropping business.
Also how much will this cost and where do we go if we have enouph money?

I also have anther question on how to create your own parking service like NameDrive.com? Where do we go if we have enouph money to do this?

I would like to start one of the following above.

The thing I wan't to start the most is the domain dropping service.

Domain dropping is easy. We're all pros at that.
Domain CATCHING is an entirely different thing.

If I get your meaning of drop service...you mean as in pool/snapnames...can't put a dollar figure on it, but I'd imagine it's a bit late in the game since the before mentioned have secure deals with hundreds of registrars....besides it would be ill advised to even enter such a venture with the possibility of CLS being implemented soon.

Me too :) NamePulse.com would be a great name for either venture IMO

Just found this out if your thinking along the lines of having your very own expired list service....

Expire.biz

I'm not affiliated with them BTW, but it seems to be spearheaded by the clickmojo group and as memory serves they've been around a while.

Just to narrow the thread, I assume you meant a drop-catching service, of sorts?
Similar to snapnames.com or pool.com ?

Not a dropping-names service like nightlynamedump.com (Which lists expiring domains, etc.)

Copying the pool.com model or the snapnames model is almost impossible at this point, as their best "drops" are actually from partner registrars that never let the names actually expire... I'd imagine that very few ICANN registrars are still non-aligned b/n the drop-catchers at this point ;)
