We all know the domain market can be wave-like characterized with ups and downs. When things slow down and you're in a "drought" period, what's your strategy to stay motivated and productive?

Personally, I'm focusing on building and finding those hidden gems. I know the harvest will come again.

What about you? Let's share some tips and keep the momentum going!

Similar, except I immerse myself in (Normally inundating) data analysis on a massive scale (OCD analytics and data crunching on steroids).

The results keep me motivated, as I generally start to identify potential sweet spots as I go (Eventually).

It's the small wins that keep people motivated for the big wins.

Same with goal setting:
  • 5 small goals per day
  • 2 medium goals per week
  • 1 large goal per month
As you knock out each of the daily 5, it motivates you towards the weekly 2 and as you knock out each weekly set and get closer to your monthly 1, your motivation gains momentum that can be used as the driving force to achieve each monthly goal.

Once that routine is hammered out, add:
  • 1 XL goal per 3 months
  • 1 XXL goal per 6 months
  • 1 XXXL goal per year to wrap them all up
Then rinse and repeat at the start of the next year.

To each their own though. What works for one may not work for another and vice versa.
