Hey everyone,
I’m pretty new here on NamePros (been lurking for a while), but I’ve finally started taking domaining a bit more seriously. I’ve picked up a few names, trying to learn the ropes, watching sales threads, reading old discussions, all that.
But man… one thing I didn’t expect was how slow everything feels. Like you buy a domain, you think it’s decent, you list it everywhere… and then nothing. Days. Weeks. Silence. I know that’s normal in this space, but it still messes with your head a bit as a beginner lol.
So I’m curious — how do you all stay patient in the early stage?
Do you guys focus on outbound? Build smaller portfolios? Just chill and wait? Or does the patience part just come naturally after a while?
Not asking for valuations or anything, just want to understand how experienced domainers mentally handle the “long quiet periods” without second-guessing every purchase they made.
Would appreciate any insights from people who’ve been doing this longer than me. Thanks!
