Hello,

I own a domain that someone wants to buy from me. I do not know how much I should quote him. I need ranges. For example, their domain name is *ComputersByApple.com* where Apple is their brand. I happen to own *Apple.com*. In essence, I have the premium short version of their current domain.

I wish I had more information. How many letters? Is it a term another prospective buyer would be interested in? How big is the company that's interested. What's the niche? What are your expectations for price?
If you want to pm me with more info go ahead. Sorry cant be of much help at this point

How do you expect an appraisal without providing the domain..?

If you want to stay 007 about it, I'm sure you can PM someone and have them assist you..

Ask for $35K via Escrow.com > Buyer Pays Fee

If that's too much, offer them a "Lease To Own", option.

if they are the only potential who could utilize the domain, then further assessment of their operations would have to be known.

imo....

Good Luck!

Any buyer in technology field will be hesitant to buy the name because of 'Apple' in it. Apple has tons and tons of trademarks and aggressive lawyers like any other corporation to protect their trademarks. Unless you have the other (*) word that would change the meaning the of the name entirely, like 'greenapple' or 'redapple' then probably it can be used in totally different domain - then you can get a decent price for it, may be upto $5K. But any trace of technology in the other part of the name would severely hinder its prospects.
