How do I lose Search Enging traffic in 4 days?

I recently bought an expired name (not deleted name) at TDnam. I parked it at Parked. For the first 4 or 5 days, I was getting Search Engine traffic about 70 to 100 a day.

Then after that, my traffic tanked. Getting less than 10 traffic a day. I searched Google and the old page is still cache. I'm guessing Google hasn't crawled my page just yet. How then, or what made my domain lose the SE traffic?

Have you experienced this before? How did you get your SE traffic back?

Well if there's no more content, then it's normal that the search engine traffic stopped. Isn't it?

I do have 1 short paragraph of unique content.

it will be drained of each index and links when you parked it, to regain the traffic back develop it by putting up contents and promoting it.

Will putting up more contents and still parking it help? I think I'm going to suggest a feature to Donny.

Not with Google; they've come out and specifically said they don't want to return parked pages for any search. They don't mind indexing 'em, they just don't want them to come up above developed sites.

(and just because they haven't updated the cache doesn't mean they haven't come back to spider the page - they also keep track of when domains change ownership and what servers they're parked on)

You might still get some play from Yahoo and MSN, but even that is weakening over time.

Search engines are really no longer a reliable source of traffic for parked domains.

you could try to optimize that paragraph the best you can, but chances are it won't have a very long-term effect with getting search engine traffic - if any.

Try to optimize the tags and build a few more backlinks.
