advice How do I contact someone behind privacy

i am interested in buying a 5l domain name which is under who is privacy and need to know the price. The name was once on namejet but for whatever reason it didn,t go to auction. how do i contact the owner?​

email the privacy whois email with an offer, they always forward to the real email. However if you don't put an offer ,or put a lowball offer, and the person is not a domainer you probably won't get a reply.

I have tried emailing with an 1xxx offer for a domain which didn,t even reach 2xx on namejet with one day to go. But no reply.

Well you made a decent offer, so he/or she does not check their email. The only other way I can think of is what someone did to me. They contacted my privacy service and told them they wanted to buy the domain, and a person at my registrar contacted me to try to broker the sale. I guess that way only works depending if the registrar likes brokering sales.

Because by the registrar contacting the potential seller the potential seller keeps their privacy but by the potential seller replying to your offer their email address removes their privacy
