Hosting my own parking pages for 1000s of domains?

I have 1000s and 1000s of domains and I've tried most of the popular parking programs. The one I'm with now seems the best overall, but it's still not "fair" if you ask. An example is that I have over 1000 mortgage related domains that gets lots of type-ins and good clicks, however they are only paying me a tiny CPC that is equal to the CPC I get on other less popular/expensive keywords/subjects.

I'm thinking I would be better off hosting my own landing pages. If I set-up a small mini-site related to mortgages, direct all my 1000+ mortgage domains to this same mini-site, and just had some dynamic content based on the domain, and then put AdSense on there it seems like I would make 10 times more money. I should be getting $1++ for mortgage clicks, not the 10 cents I'm getting now, right?

Yes... you should DEFFINENTLY try making an adsense landing page... I would imagine you could at least 5x the revenue...

I tried making my own content sites for some .be domains. I currently have about 1,360 sites created and it's a BIG difference compared to parked domains.

Mini sites work well, and you will get higher clicks.
Not necessarily always of the level that you mentioned, but it is possible.
For example, http://www.FeeFreeBank.com (My site) is nothing but an info gathering site, but the CTR of the site is many times that what I was getting at a parked service.
