Do any parking programs show top-tier PPC ads?

I don't really care about making money from my parked domains because I have never sold a domain and I don't plan to for years. But hey, every little bit helps so I'm still looking for a good place to park my domains.

Right now I have 1000s of domains parked with Sedo, but quite frankly, their payouts are pathetic. Ads that pay $1 per click via AdSense pay about 10 cents via Sedo. And I'm not just talking about an isolated example here. This is based on 1000s of domains and 1000s of clicks per month.

I can only assume this means that Sedo is only working with 2nd and maybe even 3rd tier PPCs like FindWhat, etc. etc.

So the real question is - do any of the parking programs shows ads for the top tier PPCs like Google and Yahoo/Overture? Which parking programs pay the most?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Well I used to park at SEDO myself and then someone recommended me to NameDrive.com, their PPC is better.

Anyone else? Has anyone ever done a study to see which parking programs pay the most, etc.? Getting paid 5-10 cents for clicks that would pay 50 cents or more via AdSense is ridiculous ...

Well I have a php related site and had 2 clicks amounting to $.47

Sedo is actually using Adsense text ads in their parking program. I have used a few different parking services and have had the best results with Sedo. The optimizing tool has helped me a lot.

But of cause will some parking services work better with some domains than others.

I would keep searching around for which parking company works best for your domains. I am with NameDrive right now and am happier with them than I was with Sedo. Their landing pages look a little bit nicer and they pay out higher PPP IMO.

Sedo is NOT showing AdSense ads - unless they show different types of ads based on the length of time you've been with them or something. That is the only thing I can think of is that my account is new with them and so they are showing crappy ads for my domains? Other than that I can say with 100% certainty that they are NOT showing AdSense ads for any of my 2000+ domains that I have parked with them, because I have randomly checked tons of them manually.

I know that some, if not all of the ads at NameDrive are taken from adsense. I also know that not all adsense ads for particular keywords will show up. I have compared my keyword on my ND pages with the same keyword at google. Many of the same ads show up on my ND page as come up on the google search, but some ads do not. I am curious if some advertisers opt out to having their ads placed in domains that are parked with parking companies.

Yes many advertisers do opt out of advertising on parked pages.

Sedo can be good for European traffic and non English traffic, but if you have primarily English north American traffic you should try DomainSponsor.com or Fabulous.com.

You should try out different parking services. There is no general rule. I have tripled some domain revenue from domains with primary North American visitors by moving from DomainSponsors.com to Sedo and I am sure other people can tell the opposite story about other domains.

With all the domains I have, it's just not practical to test individual or groups of names with various parking services. Maybe for the top 10% or so, but for all the other 1000s of names I just need to find one that pays fair CPCs. Thanks for all the responses ...

They are using Adsense text ads. They might as well use text ads from other companies but I have so far only seen Adsense ads. I have used the Sedo parking service about a month so I donโ€™t think the type of ads showed on parking pages has anything to do with how long you have been using the service.

Try TrafficZ.com they are good. Or develop them into mini sites and put adsense ads on them

Then GoldKey is a good solution for you. Fair CPC/Yahoo network. All my domains have also been picked up by the major SE. As a generic program GoldKey is no. 1. Have tested a lot of services now and concluded that Fabulous, GoldKey and TrafficClub are the one I favour most. I have a portfolio containing typos, type-in, SE friendly and rubish domains. These 3 parking services cover all that I need.

I was actually talking about myself :) I would like to join but does currently not park 100 domains.

you would need some staff for those number of domains you have if interested in developing it.

Yeah for sure. I'm not interested in developing any of my domains really. I have an existing full-time web business that does well and I just have no time for anything else. The domains are just a long-term investment ...
