Hosting and PR

Didn't know where to post this, figured this was good as I'm just getting the hang of all of this stuff.

Anyway, I have 15 Websites right now...the thing is they are all hosted on the same hosting package IE same server. I was wondering what exactly does this do to PR's?

14 of the sites are new and have no PR yet, but I have been getting links for each one the last couple of days. Have been getting PR 4's, PR 5's, and PR 6's to exchange links. My only question is what exactly does my hosting posiiton effect? What are the positives and negatives. Is the only negative that linking to a site on the same hosting package won't be counted as an incoming link? Or will it?

Just trying to grasp everything. Also any idea how many links it it takes to get a solid PR4? Estimate? Also a estimate on when the next Update is.

I'll try to give you a little feedback at least.

If hosting on the same package affects PR I've never heard of it. Not that it doesn't, but if it did I'm sure I would have seen that.

How about if you forward a domain to a website.com/newwebsite/ and turn on masking? Will that site still be able to pass PR?

what about if u just got a new domain name for the other sites? im sure that a lot of websites are just like one hosting plan with multiple domain names.

i think its true only if you creat a network of sites linking eachothers on the same IP range (so on same server) , but if you get external links, shouldnt be a prob
