Where can I get a hosted free simple landing page?

Not looking for any advanced features, only one major requirement is ... landing page is on my www.mydomain.com, that is, not a sub-domain of the landing page company domain.

secondary requirements, would be nice, but not essential

1) 5K page-views/month would be good but even 1K page views/month would be fine to start for first couple of months.

2) Allow visitors to sign up to receive email updates on launching of website.

Thanks

Update:
Tried launchrock.co , seems nice , quite easy to setup but landing page sub-domain seems restricted, that they don't allow www.yourdomain.com

If you have been able to use www.yourdomain.com for your landing page at launchrock, please post your answer. Thanks.

@SpareDomains Thanks, tried them but ran into 2 issues.

major issue:
1) they don't allow a landing page on www sub-domain, they need the landing page to be on sub-domain, signup, like ==> Correct: signup.yourdomain.com , else the sub-doman is invalid. I tired changing the sub-domain to www, it does not complete the setup.

Not sure if there is another way around it, but If there is I could not figure it out.

Here is the image that shows error msg with www. http://imgur.com/LjTv2Px

minor issue:
2) the email signup form on the landing page is NOT optional, you have to enable email form, else you can't publish the website. I don't want email signup form on all my landing pages. If I leave the email field empty, progress bar says 95%, could not find a way to exclude email signup form.

I can work with having an email form on the landing page, but not with having landing page on signup.yourdomain.com or a not on www., too restrictive. Landing page should be allowed on www.domain.com and if they allow landing page on www. , then they need to make it more easy to set it up!

Hopefully someone will suggest another option.

In the support section of launchrock.co they have instructions on how to set up www to redirect correctly. Did you see that already?

@discobull I have updated my previous post with the error msg image. If I am making an obvious mistake, please let me know the solution.

I tried with 2 ww. and 4 wwww., both are allowed. With WWW, the launch site button is not available. It is available with other sub-domain.

The changes need to be made with your DNS host ( might be your registrar depending on how your domains are set up ). You have to add the appropriate cname record. Have you done that?

For the 4 sub-domains, I have tried, only one, www., is not being accepted.
1) www.yourdomain.com
2) signup.yourdomain.com
3) ww.yourdomain.com
4) wwww.yourdomain.com

@discobull then please help me understand, why WWW. is not being accepted by launchrock and all other 3 sub-domains are.

The problem here is lauchrock not accepting www. Not even allowing it to be saved so the site can be published.

Can you please try this with one of your domains. Please create a landing page on www.oneofyourdomains.com , btw, if you do, please do NOT setup the landing page on your naked domain, which means not using A record. I am trying to setup landing page only on www. and not on naked domain. Don't want to block naked domain. Thanks.

For those who don't know what a naked domain is, please don't get funny idea's. Look at Google's help page 'Enable your "naked" domain address' and also 'Definition of:naked domain'

I don't have a launchrock account but if you set up your dns to have a cname record point www to your landing page there's no way for launchrock ro prevent it and the subdomain form you've been looking at becomes completely irrelevant. They have an explanation for how to do it on their website. You should really read it.

@discobull I read the help pages before posting here :) so either it is not possible or I am missing out something obvious.

launchrock account is free and their setup is really easy, it takes less than 2 minutes to create a dummy sample landing page. So I hope you will find time to setup one up. Like I said before, please don't use A record. If you can get www. working without using A record but with cname, please post a snapshot. Would really be helpful. You have spent so much time replying to this thread and it appears you have knowledge of DNS records, I do hope you will please be able to spare 5 minutes to help out with this. Thanks in advance.
