You have to be impressed with XR growth and Silicon Valley adoption
The difference with you guys that seemingly promote XR is I understand it for what it is. It is a byproduct of Qualcomm.
I am not impressed. I kinda expected what we have been seeing. I have watch as Qualcomm paid somewhat blogs appearing as tech media news sites for promotion of it's creation.
If you want to impress me...
Show me $50k+ total in 'END USER" XR name sales "IN OUR NICHE" in all years time.
I can show that for just VR in one year of 2016, 7 years ago and with little hardware/software in the market.
Just because you see it branded, you think there is a demand for it or are anticipating one. But so far, I have not seen anyone who understands exactly what it is that has been buying the XR names.
The fact that all these co's that are branding with the term actually use Qualcomm cpu/gpu XR / XR2 chips should worry you not comfort you, if you are holding at least certain XR names.
The simple fact is that I do not see a lot of use for the term. But notice I did not say any.
When I can see ''END USE BUYERS that can total $100k IN OUR NICHE'', I certainly will need to re-think all that I just said.
Up to this point, it has all been investor speculation. (investor to investor sales)
Not that anyone really cares when they are selling if it is a end user, or if it is selling into our niche, just the money, but if you are trying to measure the actual market, it matters.
The XR platform will be a success, but how far it goes or translates into names remains to be seen. I am watching this the same as you or anyone else. But perhaps even more closely, since I'm not seeing end user names sales in our niche, and that matters.
