Said during a recent speech by Hillary Clinton:

First the microphone cuts out part way through Clinton's speech. When it is restored she said:

"There may be some bumps along the road! You know this reminds me of one of my favorite American heroines, Harriet Tubman. For when she made it to freedom after having been a slave and she got to New York and she could have been so happy to just stay at home and just breathe a big sigh of relief but she kept going back down South to bring other freed slaves to freedom. And she used to say, 'No matter what happens, keep going.' So we're going to keep going until we take back the White House!"

What a poseur! :p Clinton, despite whatever attributes she may have, is certainly no Harriet Tubman and certainly shouldn't portray her campaign as a parralel to Tubman's ordeals IMO.

I'm no Hillary fan, but I'd take her anyday over GW.

Since GW ain't running that's not an issue. She has zero chance of being our next president imho.

I dunno ... I'm not a big Hillary fan, but I can see this snowballing to her benefit IMHO. The Republicans will be doomed with Iraq (McCain's already burying himself with poorly timed attempts at humor, recent admitted exaggerations, and folk's overall concern for his age, etc.) On the Democratic side, Edwards will likely suffer the same fate as his last time around (though he won't even reach the V.P. slot this time), and Obama might be the only viable candidate in Hillary's way (where things could also evolve if the Democratic establishement wills it enough to happen), IMHO. hmm:

Don't discount Bill's broad appeal, either ... this dude is still to this very day EXTREMELY popular amongst both the democratic core voters and particularly in the demographics of the key swing states ... and also amongst independent undecided's! :talk:

0% is not something I'd personally wager, in my humblest! :guilty: :p

See you soon.

I think Hillary is gonna be the next prez, unless something drastic happens in the meantime.

Your assessment of Bill's popularity is spot-on.. I just read an article (forget where) that stated that American's miss Bill and his popularity now far exceed's that of GW..

Wonder who we'll see as VP?
