My Opinion:

Before buying the Auction Domains, Go through NP forums as well as check daily sales report. You will get an Idea on which niche domain you can invest!

And just compare it with related domains which sold previously( DNJournal, NameBio,...).

You can invest on LLLL.com's and Generic Single Word Domains.
