Help with 1and1

A few months ago, I orderd a domain from 1and1. I quit using the domains, I never knew you had to cancel the contract first and now I saw 1and1 saying I have to pay them 15$ or it will be transferd to a debt collecter, and I just saw it I was on vacation and the time I had to pay them just passed. I have no way to pay them, I use a Diner's credit card and they don't seem to accept that on their site and I don't use paypal anymore. My questions are, how long does it take to get e-mail'd by a debt collecter? and how will I be able to pay, if I have to? I have no intrest in keeping my domains or using them. And how long does it take for them to cancel the contracts I have there? I used the option to cancel it as soon as possible and it says "authorised" in the status, I used contract.1and1.com to cancel it. Help please!~

Yeah I read the tos, they can take the money from me and I have no problem paying the money since I have it, but the problem is I can't pay it because of the payment methods. I don't use PayPal, and all I have is a diner's credit card.

Contact them and ask for alternative methods of payment. AFAIK they mean business with debt collection, it's not just empty threats. Eventually, if not middle ground is found, even though it is a real hassle, you could get yourself a debit card and pay.

Contacting them is the only option in that case.

They are quite big and that might be quite difficult to get in touch with them via support system. Maybe calling them will speedup the process. Good luck
