Help! - Why isn't my domain working?

I have recently acquired the domain - larryau.com, and i have redirected it to my free blog site, larryau.wordpress.com.

The host name that i supplied was 'www', and 'http://larryau.wordpress.com/' for the address.

But, when i go to larryau.com, it shows as a 'cannot display' page. Please tell me why.

How recently did you register that name? It can take up to a couple of days for a domain name to propagate to the correct DNS.

When you say you "redirected" your domain, what did you exactly do?

heres' another reason for it, it has been newly registered so the dns hasn't resolved yet, pls wait 24 to 48 hours before every internet browser in the world can see it.
