Help Transfer expired (27days left) domain from LCN

My domain (TLD .info) is 28 days after expiration
I've submited a transfer ftom LCN to IONOS (1and1), confirmed the email and now it "transfer in progress" and it sould take 5-6 days ( LCN can not spedup the transfer)
But Im afraid it may go into redemption period within 2 or 3 days (well, I dont know if it will)
So the questions is When is the last day you are able to submit the transfer?
And what you suggest to do? Cancel the transfer, renew it for 18 and then start the trasfer?
So basically 1. I started the transfer, and confirmed it 2. would the domain go in redemption during the trasfer?
There is no information on icann
I dont want to lose the domain
Please help gurus, or how succesfully transfered the domain from LCN

Not certain. You can ask the receiving registrar if they have renewed the domain in transit. I believe you must have paid for the renewal before the receiving registrar initiated the transfer.

You can also check the domain's WHOIS record to see the expiration date and the status

Yeah sure 1and1 preauth my card for $5 for it
and seem to be they renewed

status Pending transfer
so it should be ok?
