Hi everybody and Salam,

I just sold my first domain and I need some help to transfer it to the buyer. My domain is currently registered with eNom and the buyer want it at Godaddy. I received an email from the later with a Transaction ID and a Security Code and I'm a bit confused to what to do with at this stage!
I've already prepared my domain for the transfer (unlock, check my email,...), got an Autorization Key from eNom witch I sent to the buyer.
Am I missing somethings here. Are there other things to do at this stage?

Many thanks

Those are two things the buyer will need to complete the transfer, like @domeen said, simply forward that email to the buyer and he will know where to insert the two codes.

Thank you very much guys! It was really confusing for me.
But what is the next steps? Will I have to authorize the transfer in my eNom account? If so when?
Many thanks

Godaddy will send you a transfer request, make sure it's coming from the buyer's email, approve it by accepting the transfer terms and the buyer should have the domain in their account within 7 days.

I'm not an ENOM user, so I don't know if they have rapid-transfer approvals. Some registrars allow you to approve the transfer to another registrar immediately.

Ok and what about the Authorization Key I got from eNom and witch I sent to the buyer? Has it any use?
Thanks DanSanchez

The Auth Code (aka EPP Code) is what the buyer will need to provide once he initiates the transfer, it sounds like he's already gotten that part correctly though. Otherwise Godaddy would not have initiated the transfer. Did you already provide that to the buyer?

Typically the registrar would keep you up to date about the transfer with emails. I know that GoDaddy updates you on every step of the way (even if you change nameservers!). I never really used eNom either so I don't know how they operate. Congrats on your sale though!

Yes I already sent that key to the buyer.
Unfortunately my transfer was denied by eNom as per the last email received from them! They said the transfer was denied because of the 60 days lock rule of ICANN, but I acquired the domain at NameJet on 02/15/2016!!! and for me the transfer isn't within this 60 days!
How can I solve this issue?

It's okay, don't say those exact words to the buyer. Email the buyer and let him know that you recently had the domain transferred to your ENOM and they require a 60 day waiting period before it can be transferred again.

Let him know he has the option of opening an ENOM account now and have the domain transferred into his ownership at no expense. Then he can transfer the domain to Godaddy after the 60 day waiting period is over.

I don' think there is an appeals option with ENOM, anyone know if that lock is removable? I know Godaddy has the [email protected] option.

Thank you again. I sent a ticket to eNom and I'm awaiting their reply to know if there's any solution from their part. I hope the buyer won't cancel the deal. I will report here the course of all this.

Enom applies a 60 days auction lock.
If you acquired the domain at Namejet on 02/15/2016 this lock is about to end.

To check sign in to your account and click on the domain you with to transfer out. In "General Settings" you will see the date that the lock ends (if locked).

I see no date except expiration date and the registrar-lock is disabled.

According to eNom's Compliance Officer, my domain was last transferred on 2/25/2016 and we still within the 60 days lock, so it cannot be transferred at this time.

Finally, the buyer agreed to wait a few days for the transfer.

Hi everyone, just coming here to say that the transfer of my domain is complete and the buyer accepted it. So my payment is now processed by Escrow.

For information, the domain is a LNL.net I acquired on Namejet for 69$ and the sell price was $2,000.

I would thank everyone of you for helping me to transfer this domain.
