I got a laptop. And then fan is going constantly at very high RPMs. I don't even open anything, it just does it from the time I start up till I power down. At first, I thought I was overheating, but there was nothing for me to over heat on! Any ideas?

Get a duster and blow out the FAN area

I assume you have your laptop sitting flat on your desk, either get a laptop stand(with or with out additional fans, powered by USB) or elevate it(the back) otherwise if you want to save the 20 bucks :)

LEt me know if this helps

Cheers

Worked like a charm :D Thanks ^.^

I got 2 rubber cup things, furniture sliders, propping up the back for now, until I can buy a cooling pad from RadioShack

WOW frank I didn't know this could be a solution for it. If it was me I would have taken a screwdriver and opened the laptop to see what is messing it up. :( and then I would have ruined the laptop itself. :D
