Thanks to all , I've learnt a lot and still learning.
I bought this for two domains

What's their prospect?

Even though there are around 100 questions whose answers will determine the value that a domain is worth... the most important one is this:

Why would someone pay you $100 or $1,000+ for your domain (expertvilla.com), instead of paying $9 for an available hand registration?

If you can answer that question, then you are off to a great start. If you can't answer it... then it's likely you shouldn't have registered the domain :)

I reckon the domain might be useful to an end user or company that deals in expertise of any particular
field say; maybe an expert in real estate management, technology......

expertvilla(s).com is registered and a working site. Can give a clue as to another potential market.

I'm confused by your statement. The singular is a make offer at Epik and the plural is for sale BIN at Huge Domains. I don't see a working site unless you mean landers. At Epik each name for sale is in essence a one page site.

With respect to the name I see it as a clearing house for expert witness testimony, consultants, freelance researchers, keynote speakers, podcast guests. I think the name has potential.

Very strange as I checked both when I messaged. Oh I just realized you added an s to the villa and I to expert, we all agree. ExpertVilla for sale at Epik, ExpertsVilla at HD, ExpertVillas developed. It shows how a simple moving of s makes the meaning and possible applications very different.

I personally doubt it, although accept that it is certainly possible. If you are renting or selling villas the plural works better, so I don't see a value proposition for that application. I see his domain as serving a totally different market, related to experts and expertise.

Even though I think the domain is strong, and I guess none of us really know, I would think this is unlikely. I see the main market as experts/expertise, and it is not a small market, but not huge enough to make a quick flip likely. Also the fact that the same word in .org is unregistered provides them with a hand-reg cost alternative, since one could argue that .org would work acceptably. I see it as somewhere in the mid to high $$$ range, but likely just a normal probability of sale.

Very best wishes for it though, and I hope that I am wrong and that you do manage to flip it fast for a high profit.

Bob

PS Edit By the way I would carefully consider your name relative to the plural offered by Huge Domains when you are trying to decide on pricing. I am not sure without more research if the plural or singular is better. Someone looking for the name will almost certainly stumble on the HD one and there is a natural tendency to want to deal with a big company, so you will need to price yours to have an advantage, in my opinion.

A good second question to look at is what similar domains have sold for in the past using a tool like Namebio.com - check domains that have expert in them, and domains that have villa in them. Try to match the feel and intention of your domain as closely as you can.

For expert I saw several good matches at $2,500, one at $3,000, and one at $5,000.

However for villa I saw nothing that was a good match except perhaps in the $100 to $300 range... Indicating that the pairing might not be a great one.

I'd list it on all major marketplaces and put on a lander... I'd also list it for either $2,100 or $1,500 depending on your willingness to wait, and your confidence negotiating / sticking to a price.

If you're selling to a reseller on NP, you can expect $15 to $100.

On a Flippa, Sedo, or GoDaddy auction you might get 2 to 4 times that range. So $30 to $400.

I didn't see the bigdomains listing until right now... I'm pleased to see that they agree with my valuation.

I'd suggest undercutting them by 15% to 20%... That way if someone finds both domains you're the one they'd rather go for.

Regarding the earlier point of the buyer preferring to deal with a large company...

That can easily be mitigated by using a DAN.com landing page which gives the same confidence.. or even more so.
