domain Beginner first 2 domains: ecojade and icyjade - com

I'm a beginner domainer. I just purchase these 2 domains. Please help to appraise both domains:

IcyJade.com

Cant see any value at a quick glance

You need to have a plan for a domain before buying them? Dont buy a name and then ok, who can I sell it to?? This will end up costing you money and the names will end up expiring next year.

Ask yourself these questions before buying names?

Who will I sell it to?
Would a company brand themselves around this name?
Does it have commercial use?

Also get a list of potential buyers before buying a name.

Avoid hand-registering available names as well, check expiring lists and email the owners of decent names, rather spend $200 on 1 decent name that $200 on 20 crap hand-regged names.

Use https://dotdb.com/ and https://member.expireddomains.net/tools/related-domains/ to find potential buyers

Thanks for the advise. I think I made same mistake as others, like it, register it …
but as a beginner, I find it very difficult to identify which one worth buying and which one not.

some more as general guideline for beginner to avoid gTLD, all thinkable and worthy domain name on .com mostly registered.
those expiring list is a lot and again its difficult to identify which one worth to buy.

I think I would need to spend more time in reading and learning before purchasing more domains.

Thats the right attitude, just keep reading as much as you can, there is a good beginner thread on here as well

Yes, if the letters are good and you can find them for decent prices. You will find the good ones are going for x,xxx and higher.
