I've had some names taken by a registrar.

Also, I had a massive problem with PayPal. I sold a name and the buyer paid using PayPal. It seems that he had got the money by selling to a guy who PP decided had breached their terms. I had a cleared funds account, so PP shouldn't have transferred the money if there was any doubt, but it seems there is a six month wait for payment confirmation with PayPal. You only have a loan until then. Fortunately, I had moved the money out immediately, and I had used a card that only had 7 days life left to open the account. PP chased me for about 5 years for the money, but refused to go to court over it. This is why I think PayPal is a dishonest organisation, and I fail to understand why people continue to use it. There are so many reports of problems and losses through their actions.

Domaining wise equals no as I've always used an Escrow service with the buyer paying the fees unless I trusted or knew the person...

In my entire internet career think only once I got scammed from an online computer store and had to do BBB to get it resolved.
