Hello,
Since I can't discuss or complain about why a few of my posts in one of the threads was deleted. I figured I'd start a post to discuss it.

So has anyone ever felt that their post was deleted unfairly?

Case in point. I mentioned some domains I registered. Then someone proceed to comment that my domains were problems with Trademark. Fine. So I proceeded to correct this person in rebuttal. yet somehow only my rebuttal was deleted under the reason as "off topic" yet this other person's remarks wasn't.

If we really must be facist about things then shouldn't this person's trademark comment be deleted too? I mean why am I not allowed to rebuttal on trademark issues? especially if someone "took it there"?

I mean seriously. kinda one sided don't you think? or is it because the person mentioning the trademark issue is an "established member" which means they are what? A Namepros employee? so it's ok then to poo poo on my domain reg? I mean I can respect anyone's opinion but let me reply back in return. Fair is fair is it not?

If someone brings up a Trademark issue in a VR domain discussion then isn't that OFF TOPIC too? and if it's NOT then this person has literally given me the right to rebuttal. Namepros seems to have some kind of favoritism here. Fair or unfair?

Has anyone experienced this? if so let's hear it. This is an open forum after all. And I am creating this brand new ON TOPIC DISCUSSION about DELETED POSTS.

So let's hear it.

I openly admit some of my posts were justifiably deleted because I was an idiot and not thinking but this time around? I JUST DON'T GET IT.

Someone please explain?

And just so that I'm not the ONLY ONE in the BOAT. Someone PLEASE SHARE your own EXPERIENCE similar to this? Thanks.

@Avtar629 I understood your question and what I'll say is this.

This forum is for giving and taking. I take knowledge, find good deals on domains, and make connections. When I'm not doing those things, I'm giving. Answering posts from other users, and hopefully leaving behind tidbits of info that might help someone in the future. Having a post deleted isn't really a bad thing. The people running this forum have alot of experience and I have found are really caring and good hosts. It's probably a huge undertaking.

Anway, if your post was deleted maybe you could find another way to state what you wanted to say so that it helps someone in the future, and it won't get deleted again. Don't take that personally.

lol ok scratch that! not even close! maybe without the mustache?
Well they can one in the same...Wilford Brimley (Quaker Oats guy) is a actor and that mustache, can be fake!

Also been lurking and participating and do realize this that Wilford Brimley and @iowadawg
are familiar with "type 2 adult-onset diabetes,"

Dont get obsessed with there being a "snitch" It's not worth it.

And remember a post got deleted because there was actually a problem with it. Or it wouldn't have been deleted.

And dont fall for the dude that posted in the thread had to be the one that 'snitched' thinking.

And instead of posting three posts in a row, consolidate then into one so member dont have to see that avatar so much LOL

Good Luck and let's move on.

it's not about the deletion of one post it's the succession. I paid good money to get business account and I'd had to get banned or limited access just because some loser has it out for me just for kicks. I mean I can sit here right now and report each and everyone in here anonymously for no reason what so ever. just because it's off topic? it's don't not posting in that VR domain. someone has an agenda on there.

it's like a domain broker who has thee account for Car.com the domain and a new client who owns auto.com wants to hire him. The broker will obviously downplay Auto.com just to not dilute the value of his clients car.com.

I think that's what's going on in there because one of my posts was my huge VR list which alot of people liked. and was flagged for mature content domains which is fine but I vetted that list. trust me I had way more risky domains that I could have posted but didn't.

look I slave day and night to make this domaining thing profit barely. many sleepless nights. so I'm bound to slip up and not proof read properly at 3am in the morning. but seriously there were about 3-4 domains that at least to me we're borderline adult.

ahhh I don't know thanks everyone for your post much appreciated.

no offense then maybe your not making anyone jealous. again ,no offense I mean this, but are you successful enough for losers on here to be jealous about? I'm not even a winner yet and still I got a hater on me like a fat woman at KFC.

I want to be more successful but making others jealous about it is not my problem.

Make sure you got his right address, phone number and car license.

I have been called out a time or two for posting multiple times.

I get the rules. I think whats bugging me more is that thee other person's posts weren't removed but mines were?
At the time, the reason yours was deleted and theirs wasn't is because your post was reported and theirs wasn't. It's really that simple.

It's usually not necessary for us to read other posts to handle a report: we review the reported post and handle it accordingly if a rule violation has occurred. Then we move on to the next report.

Everyone must follow the rules the same: new members, established members, VIPs, Business members, etc.

I'm going to need someone to show me EXACTLY what is being deleted now. This is getting ridiculous.

Here's the most recent post of yours that was reported and we had to delete:

Thread: Virtual Reality Domains (VR)
Post time: Mar 13, 2016 at 5:07 PM CDT
Shoot! You've got White People problems! "Oooohhh Poo! My $21,000 in pending SOLD transactions are on hold! and my Chai Soy Mocha Frappachino is all warm now! and I'm late for my Mani/Pedi!

lol geeez I bet we all WISH we had your problems!

Congrats by the way! (damnit!) lol

There are more troubling examples, but that is the most recent (happened only a few hours ago). Even if you're responding to someone else's off-topic comments, it does not make it okay for you to violate the rules.

Please follow the rules and we won't delete any of your posts. Promise. ;)

Relax and have a cold beer and may be some Beef Jerky or Bacon (provide by iowadawg)

1. Like Eric said, we have thousand of posts per day and it's impossible that we can moderate all the posts. That's why there is a report button so feel free to report when you see something is in violation of the rules.
2. Mods do not discriminate any member here. We treat everyone the same way, we take action if you violate the rules regardless of who you are.
3. I understand that no one like cops, but imagine a society without cops and rules (no jail or hospital)!!!
4. Feel free to report or ask the staff any questions that you may have. We try our best but it's impossible that we are perfect! (99.95% correct)

Again, relax and have a cold beer and some snacks (they are on me - Just send me the bill)

Thank You for your cooperation and understanding. Now back to domaining so we can all make money!!!

John
Iowadawg, is a NP greeter? ... i was wondering if he gets paid the same as Walmart greeter? What you gave, is what you received. Karma does not discriminate; it will follow you.everywhere. Just my opinion.

First, I've had many posts deleted. Usually I understand why, but not always.
Second, snitches get stitches. Reporting posts is lame.

It seems, Someone always monitor my posts and try to catch if they would get any mistake in my posts.
I dont want to mention their name.
One day, one of my sales thread was deleted. There were around 30 domains in that post.
Silly reason: The domain name in the title should not be there in the list of domains selling.
Infact it was there and i just sold that name. I marked it as **** and i forgot to update the thread title.
They caught it and dumped it.

We should obey the rules. Truth.
