Guess the value of this domain

I can't list the actual domain (hence the reason I post in this forum instead), but here are some things to go by. I thought this might be interesting:

- 100% type-in traffic
- Two words
- High profile phrase
- .com
- 10 characters long
- 2,200,000 Google results with " "
- Overture with .com extension: 132
- Overture (two word phrase) without extension: 108354
- 40 Overture bids (the max)
- Top Overture bid: $2.32
- Average Overture bid in the top 10: $1.52

Here's a rough estimate. If visitors land on a page that converts as well as the average of the top ten bidders in Overture, each visitor would be worth $1.52 for this type of targeted traffic. An estimated 2640 type-in (132*20) visitors per month based on the Overture with extension. Therefore, these visitors would be worth $4012.80 every month. I multiply this times 36-60 months and reach $144,460.80 to $240,768.00 for the possible value of this traffic domain. Does this sound about right?

Anybody want to guess? Maybe it's not possible without listing the actual domain.

Overture $2.32? Is that per click? Seems awfully high if so, is the domain gambling related?

pretty good domain.. 100% type in traffic means that it is not advertised? any Alexa rank? uniques?

IMO, to be safe, calculate 25% of the highest overture bid times a 5-10% (max) CTR for a more realistic evaluation....


Value = Mid to high XXXX$ IMO

Its hard to say without knowing the domain name or even what industry the domain name is in but I would say low xx,xxx.
