For those of you who don't know the expression "Fish or Cut Bait" just Google it. As a rookie to the domain business, I choose to fish. I've said, I'm a business guy first, a marketeer second and a domainer a distant third. I think I've broken every rule known to this industry, and as such have alienated at least 50% of the members here at NamePro's. I'm sure that what I'm about to say will be met with crazed bewilderment, but that only adds to my determination and my confidence
On January 9th, just 16 days ago I reg'd the domain tailgate.live. Not just because I liked the name, but because the business guy in me knows that tailgating at sporting events in this country is a mega billion dollar industry. Someone here on NamePro's said that you shouldn't reg any name without researching whether or not there's a buyer out there for your name. While I might agree, the thing I've learned here at NamePro's is the vast majority of members buy and wait for that buyer to come to them. I see that approach as simply cutting bait
So this evening, I fished a little more, and purchased the domains BeerPong.live and Cornhole.live, and I paid more than I would have liked...$65 apiece. For all three .live domains, I have a little less than $160 invested
So do I have a buyer/sponsor for these unbelievable .live domains? I sure do
. So who's my buyer? Is it Budweiser? Is it Heineken? Is it Miller? Is it Coors? Is it Skol? Is it Corona? or is it another one of the top 100 brewers in the world?
btw, all three of these domains will be sold as a package deal. Why? Because together, they have the potential to generate billions of dollars in annual sales. For any doubters, I would suggest you Google, Beer Pong, Cornhole and Tailgate.....and that's no BULLONEY!
