For the past 4-5 months I've making a lot of decorative hair bows for dance and cheer, I started making them for my daughter and over time I've been getting a lot of requests to make them for others, so many that I'm actually making more money on hair bows than I am on domain parking.

So I thought, I'm going to build a site and offer them for sale, as well as custom made bows... I've never built a site with a shopping cart before, so I'm thinking of doing it through Paypal.... If anyone has a better suggestion, please share.

But I first need a good domain with strong keywords, normally it would take me hours to find a really good one, and if I couldn't I would end up buying one from a reseller.. But yesterday I got really lucky and found one after the 7th search attempt, I couldn't believe a name like that would be available, I had to triple check the spelling just to make sure.

So for anyone who thinks all the great domains are taken, think again!.. If theirs a keyword you absolutely must have in a 2 word domain, stick with it and find that name a mate, good chance theirs a great one out there.

Using Paypal on your site is easy. Hate the Paypal fees though.

Perhaps you can find a gem to hand reg... but that's like finding a needle in a haystack. Your time is then consumed. Time= money.

Out of curiosity, what is the domain name you regd?

Well if it's the one I'm thinking you better reg it before someone else does.. :O And if it isn't that one then why haven't you got it as well? :D

Paypal will be fine for starting out. If you get too fancy, people might think you are a big business. :)

Have a paypal payment link on the site, or simply state the paypal email address.

If business picks up, you can add the shopping cart later.

Congratz on the score.

If you are setting up shop with wordpress, I highly recommend woocommerce. Sleek, modern, professional-looking and with a simple PayPal interface (just fill in your email addy) - and it's free. Since 2012 I've been using woocommerce on all my websites and I'm very happy with it. I don't see myself ever paying for ecommerce software as long as there is such a tool for free.

I believe that it's possible to register a decent domain name for any business for regfee.
I believe that for under $500 you can find a really good name.

Market saturation is a lie spun by people with great generics - which satisfy a totally different market.

We have a niece and a cousin, both selling hand made goodies there.
And each making some damn good big bucks!
