.mobi Got an offer on a .mobi

I have only 10 .mobi names, and I admit I've been holding on to most of them for investment purposes. Got an offer on ExoticPets(.)Mobi, has decent ovt, all major extentions taken. The question is should I hold it for now, or start an auction (Sedo) with the $150 offer? I may up the reserve in any case, curious the value others may give this name. I was thinking a bit higher..

Definitely sell. I don't believe you'd attract more bids at auction. Auction just gives time for buyers remorse to set in.

If I were you, I would counter $300 - 350 first rather than send it to auction directly, and I believe the name worths this price range.

exotic pets is a pretty nice name. you are not going to probably get the eyes for that on a 5day auction unless you run the auction to coincide with the sedo premium auction starting 11/28.? some have not had the best luck with that plan either.

i'd counter at $750+ and probably not send to auction, hoping for around $400-500

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I will counter offer I have nothing to lose, as I had planned to hold on to my .mobi names. I did hope to get $300+. It has excellent google and search results and is a very specific niche. But in case the person backs out I may consider the Nper's offer of $150 minus ...Or either start an auction or sell at the next NP auction.

Will let everyone know what happens!

I think $150 is a decent offer for this name. I would counter with $300-$400 & see if you can settle in between.

BTW, I would remove the affiliate link you have in your sig to ParkingPanel otherwise if the mods see it, they'll give out an infraction since affiliate links aren't allowed

Update: Asked for $500, the counter offer was $200. Which makes me wonder if its a reseller or speculator than an enduser. Since I need the cash now, I'm tempted. So the question is...do I collect the $180, counter offer again, or send to auction as is...
