APLUS.net called me just 5 minutes ago, saying that I registered a domain with them (!!!) which I didn't, asked me if I started developing any of my domains (domainS, multiple!) and asked me if I need any web-design help or hosting service. So nos! LOL especially that I'm not gonna buy hosting from them because of their rep. >_>

Weird

I've had that happen before. It's the calling equivalent of those annoying emails and regular mails that you get from other companies.

Ya they left a message for me at home however they're rep didn't realize my machine had begun recording because for the first like 10 seconds she was sitting there burping to her fullest capability then "oh this is such n such"...they call roughly once every 2 weeks and don't listen when I ask them to give it up.

Yeah, they called me as well several times. The first time they left a message and when my wife told me this company from California called regards one of your names, I thought I was going to be rich. But after a few calls from them, you kinda get used to it.

I had them cold call me trying to sell hosting for domains I'd recently registered. They do apparently scour the whois data for call lists, which is wrong and DOES NOT meet with my approval.

I have not received another call since asking them to put me on their Do Not Call List which they are by law required to comply with.

I have never recieved a call, however I always put fake phone numbers in the whois to keep myself hidden from domain telemarketers like aplus.

I got a call like a month ago right after I started promoting them from cj.com I figured that is where they got my info, only received 1 call though.
