GoodFreePoker.com Name - Please appraise

Hello all!

This is my first post here at NamePros.

I am in a bit of a quandary. I own the name GoodFreePoker.com. I have been receiving offers of numerous amounts from $50 to as much as $1,500. I have no idea if I should sell it even for the $1,500. Here is my reasoning.

Recently, I used both nameboy.com and swiftappraisals.com to double check. Both times, they said the domain is worth around $10,000. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that! The reason that nameboy.com gives is that the name is keyword friendly (free/poker appear together and will do well on any search engine.) After reading that, I believed them but after speaking to a friend of mine at school, they said it was worth like $200.

I am so confused!!! Please help me out as I want to get the proper amount for my name and not get screwed!

Thanks to all who post! :)

I would have taken the $1,500 and laughed all the way to the bank. I would also take $200 for it and be happy. I think this name is in the low XX. The word good could easily be replaced with thousands of other words to get a similar if not better name.

Ok first of all i wouldn't base the value of a domain off of a computer generated appraisal like one from "swiftappraisal", in my opinion those are worthless. I personally think that the offer for $1,500 is an outstanding offer, if you notice all other extensions for the domain are available, the domain isn't necessarily a very sought after name or else you would see everyone trying to buy up every extension they can.
