I just can't turn away no matter how awful they are...

This caught my eye, seems a wee bit much for the domain, maybe I am wrong for the first time ever though... :hehe:

I wouldn't pay more than $xx for that domain... Funny other people think it is worth so much. I could see the .com going for that buck, but the .org? Surprising almost to the point it seems fishy. Why have the bidder's identities been kept private? I understand why some auctions are private, but there is also an increased chance of shrill bidding, which could be the case in this auction. In other words, the person putting up the auction is bidding on his own auction with the hopes of luring other people in to bidding for it. Of course, this is just speculation.

Well, my auction ended and the reserve was not met... I was wondering, is it bad eBay etiquette to relist the item with no reserve, but a higher opening bid?

Before relisting, I would contact the top 3-4 bidders and tell them what the reserve was and that you are going to relist it but they can BIN at the reserve price today.

Wow! How does a name like that get 800+ views? I had successful, legitimate sales of a half dozen good 3 char.coms, each in the mid-$xxx's, and they received about 50 view a piece.

There is such a multitude of ways to run scams, tweak figures, put up smokescreens and steal money from people on the net that, at times, being involved in doing business on the internet makes me feel like I need to wash the dirt off of my hands when I leave my computer.
