was wondering if a xxx.com etc domain were available, which are the best numbers to include? similarly, which numbers are good to include in a domain name with a word and numbers e.g. hello123.com.

do numbers decrease the value of a domain in any way, like hyphens and such?

cheers :)

Yes, numbers in a domain name generally decrease its reseller value. That is, unless you are planning to develop a site on that domain, and brand it as such. You should avoid numbers in investment domain names, except in the case of 2/3 character domains.
