I've got a great 2 word domain (easy to remember, unique) that I plan to develop as a very good new site on the net that is much needed but no such site exists so far.

I've got the .com of it, it is a verb and a noun, both singular, for example peelbanana.com, and I am wondering if I should get the opposite of it i.e. bananapeel.com (but unlike peelbanana and bananapeel, i feel that the original sounds better than the opposite)

I believe in this domain, and my thought of getting its opposite is the fear someone may run a similar service on the opposite.

What are your opinions?

I think it's depend on it's name, cause it has different interpretation, but if the opposite is cool enough,I'll get it :)

I agree, What's another 7 dollars a year if you plan on developing an important site you care about. On the other hand I don't believe in securing a domain in every extension under the sun like the registries want you to think.

If it's available to register, then of course you should get it. The cost of a registration is nothing compared to the cost (time) of development.

If it's for sale or you approach to buy then it comes down to your personal valuation
