Hi @GoDaddy. Does this mean anything to you? Interestingly, Iโ€™m having issues changing nameservers on @Dynadot, too, at the moment.

GD search really needs an overhaul. The results are pretty horrible.

e.g. I search for DrugMedia -- I get the .com.au come up first as I'm in Aus, but the .com is in position 17??! Behind the world-leading .it.com mind you :ROFL:

I'm guessing the .com is not boosted so you punish it, but this is hurting not only this sellers sales but likely sales of the other TLD's as they would benefit from the price comparison to the expensive .com

I's also not very good at spotting exact match searches for a name such as DrugMedia, where the second keyword has a matching TLD.

e.g. It does not surface the premium name Drug.media unless I do an exact SLD.TLD search for it.

Again I'm guessing this is a non-boost punishment but just results in worse options for the end user.

And it's not like it can't recognise the keywords because it shows me drug.com.au... although its offering me it for $16.49 and I can guarantee it's not available and certainly not for that price.

I initiated the transfer 4 days ago and approved it immediately. I have already contacted Transfer Team via e-mail three times but no one has respond to me. Every day the guides from the chat promise me that the Transfer Team will contact me within a few hours, but in the end nothing. 5 hours ago, another guide copied a response from the so-called โ€œDedicated Teamโ€ which says that they will approve the transfer within 1-2 hours. In the end, nothing. Then I contacted the chat again for the tenth time and here is their answer: "I am really sorry on the behalf of the previous guide, who make a wrong commitment to you. Once you get the reply from the team then only the transfer will be done", "It is not possible to transfer the domain today or within 2-3 hours.", "As I get this message from the dedicated team "If I remember another customer wait 10 days to get a reply". I request you to wait while Godaddy is verifying the transfer".

For 4 days, every time they told me that the Transer Team would contact me within a few hours, today they generally promised that they would complete the transfer within 1-2 hours.

@GoDaddy, Is this normal? I understand that sometimes manual verification is required for high value domains and I appreciate that. But is it really that difficult to communicate this to the customer? Why do your guides tell us that they contacted "Fraud Team", "Transfer Team", "Dedicated Team", "Football Team", "Hockey team", etc. and then other guides deny their words?

18:55, Nov 19 : "Thankyou for staying connected. The backend team has stated that they would expediate the transfer after 1-2 hours and you would be notified on your email once it is done. Please be assured."

23:31, Nov 19 : "It is not possible to transfer the domain today or within 2-3 hours."

@GoDaddy please help me solve this problem. I'm tired of your Chat support. I feel like itโ€™s me who works at GoDaddy and not them...

I donโ€™t know if my post affected this, but the problem is solved. The domain has just been delivered to a new registrar. Thanks.

And advice. If you have the same issue, then donโ€™t waste your time and nerves in Chat Support. It's absolutely useless.

@Timkh - I could be wrong, but It sounds to me like you may have experienced your first valuation hold.
If that's the case, only the "TransferVerify" team can speed up the process.
Unfortunately, by the time they get around to responding, (if they respond at all,) the process has already been completed.

Hi @411domains, yes, this is the first time. I usually just renew 5-fig domains and only transfer names under $10k from GoDaddy. But recently I decided to transfer everything. And apparently this is the right decision

I just tried to log into Afternic and just get the same empty page as you got. Pretty sad, Afternic tells me to reply to my offers and their site is broken.

I thankfully received my first policy valuation warning on Atom because a Premium Name registered with Godaddy has a Nameserver issue. Changed them correctly one week ago but something is wrong. Atom writes โ€žwe recommend that you reach out to the registrar and confirm if there are issues regarding the propagation of the nameserversโ€œ.

@GoDaddy what is going on with transfers right now? I tried to transfer out domains 6 hours ago. I still haven't received any emails. I called support and they stated they are stuck in a queue and the problem has been ongoing since Friday?

@GoDaddy I continue to have problems trying to transfer domains out. I initiated 5 transfers of .me yesterday over 24 hours ago and nothing has happened.

I am now also having issues with .com. I have an afternic sale of a .com and nothing has happened in 7 hours. I also have a .com transfer to dynadot that nothing has happened with in over an hour.

Anyone else having these issues transferring out?

I tried to chat with afternic and they are not online. I tried to call godaddy and the office is closed. Limited arizona hours only ----wow

I just transferred out of name.com to dynadot the same extensions and did not have any problems. They were done within minutes.

@Bearded Goat I'm also experiencing the same issue. Transfers out aren't reflected in the account and no emails were sent about the transfers being initiated. However, according to whois the domains I'm trying to transfer are pending transfer. I just talked to a rep who eventually was able to say that Godaddy made some sort of update a few days ago that apparently caused this issue. It was supposed to be fixed, but guess what... it's not. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. The rep claimed that the transfers will go through regardless of this issue. But who knows. Check whois.com/whois to see if your transfers are pending. Godaddy's whois isn't showing my transfers as pending, but whois.com does. And @GoDaddy... please fix this problem!
