March 21, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Microsoft (microsoft.com) announced on Tuesday that Web hosting and domain name provider GoDaddy (godaddy.com) is transitioning its approximately 4.5 million domains from a Linux platform to the Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting.

I forsee trouble, tons of it.

Well its a great test for Microsoft to check if there software will remain stable on such a site...
But, GoDaddy is taking a huge risk

I see no need to just go all Windows. No reason why they cannot just offer both.

But then I would never buy hosting from a domain registrar anyway so I couldn't care less?
