Should you choose a Linux or a Windows hosting plan? What are the disadvantages and advantages of them? In this post we take a look and compare the two.

Being a security expert myself ,I strongly recommend using Linux for hosting.
Windows Operating system is not very stable has to be updated constantly.
There are many flaws in Windows.
Also Linux is cheap when compared to Windows.Free softwares like Zpanel can only be used with Linux.

isn't there only more flaws in windows because more people try and find flaws because it's the most commonly used / most popular though?

however, i'd go with linux myself, seem to be able to run more scripts and just seems faster in general imo

One thing about windows.
The hacker who find a flaw exploits it.
Whereas in Linux when a person finds an exploit he patches it.
Simple.
