I contacted GD, they are looking into it now.
i'm sure it is a temporary error with registry.
at one point this morning name.com and few others couldn't serve up .tv results and GD could.

That's OK - I can't wait for 60 days to pass so that I can finally move all my .tv domain names away from GoDaddy. I prefer DomainMonster.com and NameCheap.com over GoDaddy's horrible user interface and high prices.
GD's U.I. leaves a lot to be desired. reg prices are $40, and renewals are $25 with coupon code: gdbb776
If you're spending over $75 regging new .TVs at GD, there are always 25% off coupon codes floating around so .TV new regs are $29. Which means you have to buy 2 at a time. Even though GD is bit more expensive, when it comes to buying or selling domains, many end-users already have GD accounts so transactions/pushes always go smoother. But I use GD alot because they have the most important tool I need: 24 hour live customer service. If there's ever a problem... someone can pick up the phone and fix it. Not available at most registrars. Ideally we'd setup our own registrar (someday soon, I hope), but in the meantime if you are shopping based on price VS features/service:
I also use:
Name.com ($23), free privacy tools, bulk management, etc
ResellerClub (aka Directi) has a current promo of $19.99 and allows free privacy, bulk tools, reseller features, white-label, etc. Promo ends on the 30th March, 2010. I believe the directi backend is the most widely used and user-friendly and great api access.
and when checking with other registrars, be sure to see what domain management functions they have and don't have. Some don't even offer bulk modifications, which is a nightmare. There are lots of positives though, as many providers offer free privacy, etc (but choose to use privacy at your own risk.) Some do not accept paypal, which is a hassle. Some let you taste/refund, some don't. Etc. and most importantly do lots of research into security issues, domain thefts, etc... and how a registrar reacts/responds.
obviously, ymmv. good luck.
