.tv .TV just behind .COM

Very interesting change on GoDaddy !

When you looked for a domain on GoDaddy, the extensions used to be in that order : .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .MOBI, .TV

I've noticed that they recently changed this order to .COM, .TV, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .MOBI

GoDaddy being the world's biggest registrar, this is an important little move that shows how hot .TV has become in recent times. It's also a great way to promote .TV even more as a major gTLD (and far from the little ccTLD it once used to be).

.TV is definitely a very exciting extension right now-exciting to both watch and invest in. I have about 10, and am looking to greatly increase my .TV portfolio over the next couple of months. I think this is the horse to bet on....

Yes your right Godaddy has moved .TV up the pekking order, but still .TV is a long way behind, there are quite a few domain registers who dont even display .TV on the first page of its results.........

I personally think these registers are 1 or two years behind in domain development

Speaking of other registrars....Enom has now abandoned dot tv altogether on their homepage. They have replaced the prominent .TV promotion with a LAME .ORG hosting special.

There goes Demand Media again....really pushing the extension. Huh?

Im with you there MicroGuy, I dont agree on the premium reg fees, however I would'nt be to harsh on enom as if you didnt realise they have a web site entirely dedicated to .TV, that in itself is great advertising for .TV

well yeh that to channelme.tv and enom.tv, sorry I didnt mean a developed dot tv site just a site that sells dot tv
