So, a domain expired which I had listed as a Premium Domain within GoDaddy.
I added it to Backorder since it was already in Recoverable with a Redemption Fee.
Today, I get a notification stating it was renewed, but GoDaddy support said they could still recover it for me for the Redemption Fee. They said Backorders still have to pay the premium (idk what this means) and said my chances of getting it with Backorder is small. It is not a domain that I believe many people are backordering, though.
Does this situation mean they are holding domain until backorder goes into effect or is my only chance Redemption Fee? It's strange as I have never had this happen. Usually backorder is sufficient.
