GoDaddy domain names purchased before 2011

A lot of godaddy domain names purchased before 2011 have the free hosting credits. I have called many times, multiple CSR ensured me that those credits do not expire. A few weeks ago, without notice, they changed the credits to be only 1 year hosting. Can they actually one-sided change the products without "equivalent" product? Anyone here have the actual screen capture of the description of those credits?

I noticed the free hosting credits on my domains disappeared a day or two ago.

the free hosting credits (unused) were a factor in my renewals of a couple of my domains.

I wonder how the resellers are going to explain this to their customers.
