Domain Tools Alternatives For Free ?

Specifically, I am looking for free tools to accomplish some of their premium features

-Reverse Whois
-Reverse IP
-Registrar/Hosting History
-Whois/NS/IP History

In the event there is nothing for free, is there room in the "domainer tools" market for a freemium type competitor? You know, give them 10 free credits for opening an account, and if they want more, they purchase it.
Or is a company like DT have such a competitive advantage because of their history, an entrant would be having to play catchup in order for the data to have the same quality and be reliable? In other words, the entrant would have such difficulty in getting or even purchasing the data?

The European laws on data privacy are currently much stricter than the US and the storing of, never mind publishing of, individuals data without their consent is a tricky area.

In the US the NTIA is currently looking at this area and considering how consumers can be better protected.

As a third party it is very hard if not impossible to know you have the consumers consent if you are relying on caching WHOIS lookups or scraping data, even if you are not using it for anything beyond what was intended when consent was given.
