GoDaddy domain cancel process time. Help, I'm afraid that I can be tricked by a peon

want to know what's the time to cancel domain when transfer domain to someone with godaddy..hereis described this but godaddy not mention time when domain can't be canceled ?
I'm afraid that I can be tricked by a user (peon) of the forum and that's why i ask
so please i need quick answer..

Contact GD as soon as possible, and tell them that you want to cancel the transfer!.

i'm affraid because i sold domain to him..then after 2 days..he say:
please refund asap. i ask him first to sent me domain i sent already..
so..i have domain..but still not refund becayse if i refund he can cancel transfer ..that's way i want to know what's the time of canceling transfer domain.

When you say you 'have the domain', does that mean it is now in your Godaddy account? If it is in your account then the transfer is complete and he cannot cancel the transfer from his end.

Are you sure we are talking about a TRANSFER? It sounds like things are being done real fast between your Godaddy accounts, which means you are talking about a PUSH. Did you push the name to him and now he has pushed the name back to you? Please clarify before we can advise you further.

I believe that is the case.
The OP seems to have sold a domain and pushed the domain via godaddy to the buyer. But the buyer wanted a refund, so he pushed the domain back to the OP's account and is waiting for the refund.
Meanwhile OP believes that the buyer will take the refund and also cancel(undo) the push, therby leaving him with neither the money nor the domain.

Anyways xtmoney, i believe it's safe for you to refund the money to the buyer as the domain transfer can't be canceled. :wave:

Ask Godaddy to be certain.

To push a domain the person whose account it is in has to initiate the push and the other persons has to accept the push into their account.

So if he pushed the domain to your account and you accepted it and you can see it in your Godaddy account, it will not leave until you push or transfer it all over again.

My understanding is that GoDaddy gives 15 days after the push to report any problems.

Whatever you do, you need to get GD on the phone NOW. The longer you let this go without initiating contact with GD, the more likely the outcome will be bad.
