can you still use new registrations coupons with your account?

Yes. You can. I allways use those cheap .com coupons which only work with credit card. Works fine for me with DDC. Happy with DDC features

GD DDC Renewals are $8.19 + (.18 ICANN)= $8.37 without coupon searching.

My time is valuable and I run 2 businesses besides playing with domains, so the auto renew at $8.37 is fine with me when I am not paying attention or too busy to care.

The DDC is around $90, but I used a coupon and got it for around $60.

You pay $8.49+.18=$8.67 for Renewals with COUPON SEARCHING

I pay $8.19+.18=$8.37 for Renewals without COUPON SEARCHING

The difference is ONLY $0.30 per domain. BUT, since I have over 300 domains, that is more than $90 per year in just renewal savings between me and you and I only paid around $60 for the DDC. Not to mention, while everyone else hunts for .com coupons for new regs and renewals at around $8, I am automatically there without wasting my time. And when a $.99-$6 coupon is available for a new reg, then I will use that too. This is how the DDC is worth doing for me.

It's a good analysis. And you are correct - if you have over 300 domains it's worth joining for the renewals. I too own over 300 domains and will likely join to save on my renewals. Even $.30 per domain is a nice savings when you have lots of them. And thanks for the tip on the fact that I can join the club for less with a coupon. Weirdly, I wouldn't have thought of that.

However, I disagree on one point - it's never worth it for new regs since I get them at a max price of $6.97 - and no lengthy coupon searching is required. The same cash back site and coupon code has worked for years.

You are right. I use the codes on here when I want a new reg. $.99-$6.99 is what I search for, if I can't find one, I add it to my domain "WANTED" list and wait! BUT, sometimes I give in and pay the MAN the $8.37 when I am in the mood to buy!!

This RECYCLED code is nothing new and has been on this thread since Oct 2011. It may work for some, but I have already burned it up months ago!!
