Global Monthly Srearches clarification

Hi

I am trying to find global monthly searches for a given domain name. For that i am using Google Keyword tool. My doubt here is can i search for "uk best jobs" for www.ukbestjobs.com OR am i strictly need to check without spaces i.e., "ukbestjobs".

Your Quick help is highly appreciated.

You search "UK Best Jobs". Also, make sure you check off "Exact" and uncheck "Broad" in the left column titled "Match Types". If done right, you should get 28 global exact monthly searches for that example.

av1atic correctly describes the method commonly used by domainers to evaluate keyword search volume. In addition, type-in traffic operators use that method to better evaluate the whole domain name (enter keyword.tld instead of keyword). Formerly known as 'ovt with ext'. If you find a non-TM keyword.tld with measurable search volume, you've got a tiger by the tail, grab it and don't let go.
