I'm seeing this often in recent days. I'm getting some good/reasonable offers on few of my domains listed on EFTY. But when I contact them back via email by saying "I'm ok with your offer amount and lets complete the deal", no reply from them.

Seems they are sending offers to test or something.

How many offers like this you guys will get?

I get these periodically on a few of my higher traffic adult names. I think maybe some horny guys just get some kind of thrill from submitting forms on a domain name that turns them on. Sometimes they have dirty comments too. LOL

Sometimes spam creeps through and sometimes people simply have a change of heart after making their offer. I've experienced this too.

Happen to escort agency related domains....they ask how much I charge per hour?

Happens to me on a few platforms. If they don't pay I raise the price lol. Worked on one at Afternic...they ended up paying 10x more for not following through the 1st time.

Lately, I get these scammy emails as well and it gets even better
when they insert a fake or non-deliverable email in the form. :)

Some people have way too much free time and they don't know how to use it.

Most of them ends up into no second response after initial contact. Either they are no more interested which has happened on several occasion or the price is too high for them to even bother responding back.

...or the price is too high for them to even bother responding back.

He is talking about the times when their offer is accepted by the seller

I think there is a chance that they're just testing the waters.
They probably have similar names and want to see for how much other sellers might drop the price.

Happens to me as well with increasing frequency. Good idea to raise the price.

Might as well be they think they won't get a reply when their offer is too low.
