.tv GEO owners: Major falling out? Did I miss something?

Was there a major fight between the .TV GEO owners? I see all these threads about GEO-value, where former partners are battling it out... fighting over valuations, or turf, who knows....

did I miss something? is there a thread? what happened? I remember poodleman & localexpert were working together, now it looks like the GEO networks are splintering...

anyone care to explain/enlighten us?

Look at Associated Cities as an example, for years that network has been plagued with dispart owners who have differing viewpoints on which direction to take the business. If they were all on the same page, they would all be on the same platform.

Having different people from different backgrounds come together in some type of configuration is never an easy thing to accomplish.

In theory it is great: put all the cities together to form a national network.

In practice unless you are all have a common view of the future, it is tough.

I still have nationwide advertisers and users, so I'm plowing forward with MY vision of the future which can start making money now, but still needs some more time to get out of beta mode when our toolset is complete.

Actually MrRhee all is well in terms of communication with the other big geo holders and we are always looking to help each other make money if we can. If you return calls you would know that.

You could always buy up the cities like Costello Cities network. I met the brothers at the GeoDomains conference in Chicago last summer... now they have a great business model to follow!
